As recommended by OFSTED we follow the Early Learning Goals, which cover every area of development, with an emphasis on ‘learning through play’

We are using the new EYFS principles at Betley Pre-School. We acknowledge that each child is individual and encourage the child to be confident and independent.

We provide an environment to support and extend children’s development and learning.

We monitor the progress of each child in all areas of learning

Facilities

Betley Pre-School’s village hall provides a perfect setting for various types structured play.

We have a large enclosed outdoor play area; it has shade for very sunny days and a play area with swings and slides.

Lunch Club

The lunch club operates as part of each session in a separate eating area within the village hall.

Each child needs to bring a packed lunch and in addition, Betley Pre-School provides healthy snacks for each child during each session.

In the morning session breakfast is provided and in the afternoon session a small snack and drink is offered.
